1st Annual Holiday Auction Raised Over 2k

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 1st Annual Holiday Auction! The auction was our first fundraising effort as a foundation and our first opportunity to engage the larger community. Fortunately, we were able to raise more than $2k, exceeding our initial goal of $1,500.

Not only did we exceed our financial goal, we also saw more engagement from our network than anticipated. We were fortunate to have over 20 items donated from across the country ranging from makeup to electronics to homemade food. We also had more than 30 individual bids on those items, which intensified in the auction’s final days.

As with all donations to our foundation, all funds raised from the auction will be used to provide educational opportunities to disadvantaged students from Los Angeles. This auction and similar grassroots fundraising efforts throughout the year are essential to our progress and allow us to continue to support the community.
